Fly-half Thomas could remain sidelined until Christmas
RAIDERS fly-half Owen Thomas might not return to action until next year following the concussion he suffered during the first half of the defeat to Tonbridge Juddians a fortnight ago.
Guernsey travel to Westcliff tomorrow after a bye week in National Three London & South-West, but coach Jordan Reynolds revealed yesterday that he wants to give his Welsh No. 10 as long as he needs to make a full recovery.
'There is no time limit on it,' said the GRFC director of rugby.
'It will probably be a minimum of three to four weeks, even possibly up until Christmas.
'We will see how it goes – we have got to think about his long-term health.'
With Thomas sidelined, young Gareth Davies will make his first competitive start in a No. 10 shirt for Guernsey in Essex tomorrow.
