Along with a visit from the Netherlands A side at the end of April, it is hoped that the Danes will provide the island squad with games here in mid-summer 2017 and the Guernsey Cricket Board are also in talks with a couple of other nations in an attempt to give Sarnian players some attractive home games to complement their Sussex League fixtures.
'Denmark won the European Division Two ICC Under-19 World Cup Qualifier in the summer, winning every game, so they have obviously got some good cricketers coming through. They are a nation on the up.'
