Teddington, who are vying for the South Premier Two title at the highest level a club can be to enter the Trophy, scored twice in the second half of Sunday's third-round clash to secure a hard-fought 2-0 victory over David Wray's side, but the Guernsey coach took plenty of positives from the game.

'I don't think there was a lot between the two teams,' Wray said.

'They perhaps had a little more control, which comes from playing in a high league all the time and is to be expected.

'We decided to press hard, which upset their rhythm a little bit, and we had some chances – a few short corners, which unfortunately didn't really work on the day.

'It was one of those tight games where you need a couple of things to go for you, but they just did not quite fall for us on the day.'
