Watson loses to qualifier Tig in Miami Open
HEATHER WATSON fell at the first hurdle in the Miami Open yesterday.

The British No. 2 lost to Romanian qualifier Patricia Maria Tig 7-6 (4), 6-1 in 1hr 24min.
Despite having to go through qualifying, Tig is ranked 13 places above Watson, who will now drop further from her current place at 108th in the world having reached the fourth round of this tournament last year.
