GUERNSEY sport had plenty to celebrate on Saturday afternoon with hockey inter-insular success, a crucial win for Guernsey FC and an eight-try romp for Guernsey Raiders.

At Footes Lane, both the men's and women's first teams retained their hockey trophies against Jersey, the ladies emerging 4-2 winners while the men edged a hard-fought contest 4-3.
The returning Ross Allen inspired Guernsey FC to a 4-1 away win at relegation rivals Chatham Town, a result that moved the Green Lions 11 points clear of their opponents.
Meanwhile, eight different players crossed the line for Raiders as they beat Amersham & Chiltern 51-12 in National Three London & South-East.
