WHILE son Seb looks to make it back to back Ginetta Junior Championship wins at Donington Park this weekend, his father/mentor Andy will have his own competitive challenge with the opening race of the 2017 FIA World Endurance Championship at Silverstone.

Priaulx Snr says he can't wait to start the 2017 campaign on home ground, the Guernseyman back for a second season with the Ford Chip Ganassi Racing team driving alongside fellow Brit Harry Tincknell and new team-mate, Brazilian 'Pipo' Derani.

'I am looking forward to the first WEC race of the year. It has been a nice winter break, but it was great to go to the States to do the Daytona 24 Hours, which was a good warm-up for Silverstone,' he said.
