But the visit of a strong Netherlands A squad will provide some of Guernsey's youngsters the chance to impress, says their coach Ash Wright.

The ICC affiliate, who have played at full World Cup level, are sending across a squad of 25 that includes 10 of their full national squad to play a Twenty20 and two 50-over clashes at the KGV.

'First and foremost, this is a very good team coming to the island to provide us with a tough test, which is exactly what I want us to be doing regularly this year,' explained Wright.

'So we have picked the strongest possible team that we have available for each of the three matches because we are not treating this as a warm-up, these are serious matches we want to win.'

The weekend begins with a T20 clash on the evening of Friday 28 April while there are 50-over clashes on each of the following two days.
