Royals crowned inaugural Scratch League winners
THE Rocque Balan Royals have been crowned inaugural winners of the Island Team Scratch League.

The big guns of the Royal Guernsey had too much firepower for the visiting La Grande Mare Douit Dodgers in yesterday’s final at L’Ancresse, winning 14-7 in the two foursomes and two singles, plus bonus points format.
‘We’re really chuffed, it’s another trophy in the cabinet in what has been a really good season for us,’ said Royals captain Tom Le Huray.
‘We have lost only two matches, including here to La Grande Mare in the round-robin of this competition, so this was a bit of revenge.’
