Having been asked to bat first, the Sarnians were bowled out for 213 with Matt Stokes, coming in at number four for the first time this tournament, top scoring with 75 made from 99 balls.

After Ollie Newey and Stokes had claimed three early wickets at the start of the reply, a fourth wicket stand of 89 got Ghana back into the game, but David Hooper broke that partnership before Jamie Nussbaumer picked up three wickets to seal a 23-run victory.

Meanwhile, Jersey secured their place in the final and a return to WCL Division Four with a convincing seven-wicket win over Qatar in their semi-final.

Jersey will face Vanuatu, who caused an upset by beating Italy in the other semi.
