The concluding 15-7 victory for the greens in the blue riband A team inter-insular was as close as they got, with the other three matches resulting in thumpings in the home island’s favour.
Across the four matches – two ‘Murattis’ and two ‘Uptons’ – the overall scoreline read 106-28 to the Sarnians.
