Sayer and Brown miss Dorking trip

RAIDERS have been forced into shuffling their backline for tomorrow’s trip to Dorking, where they will attempt to extend their winning start to the London & South-East Premier season.

Fullback Luke Sayer and centre Ned Brown will both miss the match through injury and will be replaced by Sam Whitehead and Chris Ahne, with Luke Jones moving from the wing into outside centre.

The solitary change in the pack from last week’s hard-fought 24-21 win over Hertford sees Dale Martin return at openside flanker in place of Robin Le Cocq.

In the front row, Charlie Currie keeps his place at tighthead despite Layton Batiste being available.

Dorking lie eighth in the table having won two and lost two of their games.

‘We have to be on our money and not kicking away possession because if we give their back three quality ball, they are going to punish us for it,' said Raiders coach Jordan Reynolds.
