Tardif has applied for vacant Guernsey job
CHRIS TARDIF has confirmed his application for the Guernsey football manager’s job.
Ever since the resignation of Steve Sharman last month, speculation has been rife as to who will lead the defence of the Muratti Vase next spring.
Top of the list in many eyes is star Guernsey FC goalkeeper and former professional Tardif, who has been recovering from a broken leg for the past year.
The application process for the top job in local football closed on Monday.
'Yes, I have put forward an application for the Muratti job,’ Tardif said yesterday.
‘If I am lucky enough to be successful, then I have a coaching team provisionally in place to work with me, but it is not fair to make public who else is in it just yet.’
