The GFC and Muratti star was named in a 21-strong squad for both that game and tomorrow night’s friendly clash against the RAF, but has turned down the chance, as has former Muratti skipper Sam Cochrane who was also named originally.

‘Dom feels he cannot commit at the moment,’ said the FNB Priaulx League XI coach Steve Sharman yesterday.

Heaume’s original selection had not been universally well received for the simple fact he has yet to sign for a local league club, which is a requirement. Sharman, who hoped he would, expects the player to sign for a Priaulx side soon, but with now only 10 days before the game in the UK, it is impractical.

The coach says that, in total, he has lost four players and it is likely that one will be added to the squad before tomorrow’s game.

As well as Heaume and Cochrane, striker Danny Hale is out injured and midfielder Blair Howitt is away.

Kick off tomorrow at the Track is 7.30pm.

FNB Priaulx League squad: Leroi Riley (Manzur), Jason Martin (St Martin’s), Louis Falla (Rovers), Tom Strawbridge (Rovers), Damian Larkin (Vale Rec), Louis Graham (Rovers), Aaron Mahieu (North), River Marsh (North), Luke Mollet (North), Gregor Wilson (St Martin’s), Tyler McKane (Rovers), Sam Hall (Rovers), Fin Whitmore (Rovers), John Hunt (Manzur), Marc McGrath (North), Sam Murray (North), Stuart Roussel (North) and one other.
