Raiders going ‘full pelt’ into Tring

ALL’S rosy in the Raiders garden, but there will be no stepping off the pedal, warns their coach.

Not only did Raiders manage to keep their London & South East Premier title bid on track with a bonus-point win at Westcombe Park, they came away unscathed and were able to give key men valuable rest time, which will be vital as they face another massive test at home to Tring this weekend.

It’s now 10 wins out of 12 for Jordan Reynolds’ men, who sit just three points off top spot held by Hertford, who they have already beaten – so it’s no wonder the head coach was happy with the latest return.

But Raiders will need to be against a side with an identical record but which sits one bonus point off the Guernsey side in a table that now shows the top four pulling away.

Reynolds says that there will be no shirking in training ahead of Saturday’s game, having gone easy on his squad last week after the bruising battle with Barnes.

‘I think we’ll go full pelt this week. We didn’t have to overdo it at Westcombe and it took us 40min. to get into it.’
