Mackay marks his debut with goal in comfortable North win

NORTH had Angus Mackay as one of two debutants as they climbed to third in the FNB Priaulx League table at an inhospitable midweek December night at the Track last night.

But initially it proved much tougher for Mackay and his new teammates than the form book suggested, Bels being only one down at the break and they might easily have been level as in the last move of the half striker Callum Wallace struck a post.

Ultimately, though, it finished 6-0 to North, who also gave a first start to the former Sylvans and island U18 Ben Bullock.
