BRAD WATSON will belatedly go for English title glory – on our television screens – in just over six weeks’ time after the rearrangement of his showdown with Loua Nassa.

The 27-year-old Guernsey professional was originally supposed to fight unbeaten Nassa for the vacant title in Jersey last month.
However, scheduling and logistical issues put paid to that and as a result, both men had to wait to meet, but now know that they will face off at Ponds Forge in Sheffield.
Furthermore, the fight will be on the undercard of a busy night of live televised action headlined by Liam Cameron v. Elliott Matthews for the Commonwealth middleweight title.
Due to be shown on Freesports – which is available to all Sky and Freeview subscribers – it will give Watson exposure to a national audience.
