‘Every game a grand final now’ – Reynolds

RAIDERS have their fate in their own hands now after extending their lead at the top of London & South-East Premier.

Guernsey are five points ahead of the chasing pack with Tring now their closest rivals following Hertford’s defeat away at Barnes, both of whom make up the top four.

‘It’s interesting to see that result for our guys knowing that Hertford’s game in hand counts for nothing now,’ said Jordan Reynolds, the Raiders head coach.

‘They have lost that game, we are up top on purpose now and we can start hunting that title.

‘Like I said to the boys, every game now is a grand final and it is now even more so.’

There were two tries for Cameron Craine and one apiece for Tom Ceillam and Dale Martin as Guernsey picked up another bonus point in their 27-11 win over Tunbridge Wells in front of a large crowd at Footes Lane on Saturday.
