After their vital 44-33 win away to fellow title contenders Hertford on Saturday cemented their place at the top of London & South-East Premier, any thought of Guernsey getting ahead of themselves was quickly dispelled by coach Jordan Reynolds yesterday as he emphasised that the fixture list has dealt them a good hand this coming weekend when Raiders host Dorking.

‘The good thing we have got going for us now is that we lost to Dorking away, so that motivation has been there ever since because the guys want to rectify what went wrong there,’ Reynolds said.

‘As pleased as we were with beating Hertford, afterwards everyone was also talking about the upcoming opportunity to beat Dorking here.’
