CHRIS SIMPSON reached a milestone in his career last night, but he did not feel like celebrating.

The Guernsey professional was playing his 400th match on the PSA World Tour, but his opponent showed him no favours as Ali Farag demonstrated why he has risen to world No. 2 in knocking Simpson out of the British Open in straight games.
The Egyptian star beat the world No. 40 Sarnian, who had to progress through two rounds of qualifying to reach the main draw, 11-5, 11-5, 11-6 in 32min. on the glass court in the Airco Arena in Hull.
