It was a real family affair in Sunday's final as he defeated his cousin Jamie Blondel 3 & 1 at a sunny L’Ancresse, with both finalists having their fathers caddy for them.
Danny never trailed and was 3 up after the morning round in the 36-hole final, but Jamie fought back to narrow the gap to one by the turn in the afternoon round.
However, he could never get back on level terms and the champion sealed victory with a brilliant birdie three on the 35th hole.
Ollie Chedhomme won the island junior title by the same 3 & 1 score against Josh Hamon.
