Chalmers sets new British U20 record to qualify for World final
ALASTAIR CHALMERS has set a new British U20 400m hurdles record.

The Guernsey star clocked 50.11sec. in finishing second in his semi-final at the IAAF World U20 Championships in Tampere, Finland, on Friday evening to qualify automatically for Saturday's final.
Only the gold-medal favourite, South African sensation Sokwakhana Zazini ran faster than Chalmers in winning their semi-final in an outstanding 49.43sec.
The final is due on track at 1.52pm BST on Saturday.
