Championship leader Trevor Willis, second-placed and third-placed Will Hall and Wallace Menzies respectively, are all set to compete in Jersey and then at Le Val des Terres on Saturday.

A year ago Jersey’s Jason Mourant won round 17 of the national series – a first for the Caesareans since the legendary Tico Martini took first place in 1962 driving a Martini.

Mourant is currently fourth in the series having been on the podium in a number of run-offs this season.

Guernsey’s top drivers – Darren Warwick and Nick Saunders – are also due to drive both rounds.

A year ago both Sarnians made the podium.
