The Guernsey FA Cup holders outshone lacklustre champions Rovers at Blanche Pierre Lane, with two goals in either half and the Martinez Cup the rewards for their efforts.

They could have had more, too.

Having opened the scoring through Tomos Ap Sion after quarter-of-an-hour, Glenn Le Tissier doubled the lead on 37min. with a delightful finish into the top corner.

After the break, Zach Masteron-Pipet's deflected shot made it 3-0 before Rory Moriarty completed the scoring with a fine half-volley.

Le Tissier had the chance to make it five from the penalty spot, but blazed over the crossbar in the 90th minute.
