Inspired by Dave Rihoy’s early strike, Guernsey FC romped to a 5-0 away win, a result which lifts them off the foot of the early season Bostik South East League table.

Just eight minutes had gone when Matt Loaring fed Rihoy and the veteran found the corner.

Five minutes later it was 2-0 as the roles were reversed and Loaring applied the finishing touch.

It stayed that way through until just past the hour mark when Kyle Smith picked out Will Fazakerley, who netted with a tap in. It was his second goal for the club.

Then, when Fazakerley was tripped in the box, Loaring got his second from the spot.

Tony Vance made a clutch of subs and Canha had just arrived on the pitch for Smith when he opened his GFC account.
