Nicolle is crowned island men's champion
JEREMY NICOLLE is the new Guernsey men's golf champion.

The 22-year-old beat the defending champion Danny Blondel with a birdie two on the second extra hole of the Saffery Champness Island Championship final at La Grande Mare this afternoon after Blondel had birdied the 18th to extend an enthralling match.
Nicolle had beaten Daniel Griggs 2 up in the morning semi-finals while Blondel had overcome Bobby Eggo 3 & 2.
Neil Black from La Grande Mare was the Plate competition winner.
