Will Fazakerley gave the Green Lions the lead at East Grinstead Town with an audacious long-range effort in the second minute and they doubled their lead inside five minutes as Ross Allen scored his first goal since his return from New Zealand.

However, two goals in quick succession brought the home side level and the sides went into half-time at 2-2.

Fazakerley netted his second – a fine curling effort – on 78min. to put GFC ahead once more but East Grinstead equalised from the penalty spot with five minutes remaining.

In the 88th minute, Kieran Mahon picked up his second yellow card of the game and was issued his marching orders, meaning GFC had to see out the dying stages with 10 men, but they held on for a 3-3 draw.
