Manzur hit back to beat Rec while North draw with Sylvans

MANZUR twice came from behind to beat Vale Rec 3-2 last night at the Track in the FNB Priaulx League.

Craig Young scored both first-half equalisers after Danny Ozanne and Martin Savident had put Rec ahead on separate occasions.

John Hunt netted the only goal of the second half as the hosts picked up three points.

Meanwhile, Northerners needed a late Sam Murray equaliser at Northfield to earn a 2-2 draw against Sylvans.

Kyle Smith scored both the Sylvans goals with Danny Hale heading in North's first.

On Tuesday night, St Martin's and Rovers had contested an entertaining 1-1 draw at Blanche Pierre Lane where Tyler McKane's goal for the visitors was cancelled out by Sam Hale.
