The men in orange were without three of their regular back four as Ben Cormack sat the game out with injury while both Carl Pugh and Tom Rigby were unavailable for the game against the side who were missing their spine of Andrew Dawson-Ball, Zak Damarell and Sam Dawes for much of the first half of the campaign.

Hamish Glass gave the champions the lead before island star Steve Waldrom struck twice to edge Indies ahead.

Glass grabbed his second at a short-corner just before half-time, but young Theo Swainston handed Indies the advantage once more in the second half only for Ravenscroft to thump home a low drive to earn a share of the spoils.

In the second game of the top-flight double-header, Yobbos beat Elizabeth College 4-1.
