A much needed win for the Green Lions never came in the Sunday lunchtime kick-off even though a long awaited goal did.

The trouble is a deserving Phoenix Sports delivered two of their own, the winner coming from that man Jeff Dunham-Kessie who likes his visits to Footes Lane.

The hosts had been given a 14th-minute lead by Charlton Gauvain – their first goal since 3 December – but that lasted just five minutes with Jack Barry netting the equaliser.

The winner came 13 minutes into the second half, Duah-Kessie given a simple tap in by Kehinde Aileru's excellent assist.
