No rocking Johns and Coquelin’s boat
ROWING races have returned to Guernsey waters and – thankfully – so have the crack pairing of Simon Johns and James Coquelin.

The TPA duo admitted to feeling rusty on their racing return, having both spent last season out with tendinitis, and they also did not have an entirely smooth row.
But they defied several hiccups along the way to win Saturday’s 5.2km ‘Course B’ race in 25min. dead. James Briggs and Paul Pearce followed just 10sec. behind.
The so-called Tim and Trav – Tim Nicolle with James Plumley subbed in for James Travers – placed third in what proved a particularly competitive men’s doubles class.
The mixed Le Mont Saint quad finished fourth and just outside the doubles bustle with a class record of 25-36.
