The series passed its halfway marker on Sunday with a testing fourth race at Le Guet, packed with constant twists and undulations, and Mike Serafin made the gutsy move of leading Roe for the opening laps.

Andy Colver also stuck on the initial pace for one circuit, but after the halfway point of an eventual 10 laps, Roe was out on his own.

The reigning series champion clocked 64min. 45sec. for his third straight victory of this new campaign.

Serafin followed in 66-13 and Colver trailed by another 2min. in a race where two fresher faces, Alex Van Katwyk and Brad Vaudin, made the top seven.

Brad’s sister, Kylie Vaudin, remains the dominant force in the women’s title chase.

Teenager Kylie holds a perfect record of four from four after lapping runner-up Nor Holden.
