Sixteen-year-old Chedhomme, who now plays off plus-two handicap, returned a two-under-par 63 gross, reaching the turn in level-par 33 shots with a birdie at the ninth cancelling out a bogey at the fifth before three more birdies followed on the back nine at 10, 13 and 14 with the only blip being a four at the short 16th.

Just a week after producing one of the rounds of the season at L’Ancresse, Gaudion elevated her game to a whole new level and carded a magnificent round of 67.

Playing in the August Junior Competition, the 14-year-old was out in 35 cancelling out two bogeys with birdies on both the par fives. She then proceeded to par all the remaining holes to come back in 32.

As a result of her round she is now down to an exact handicap of 7.6.
