The 17-year-old striker came off the bench at half-time and turned home Tom Jackson’s dinked cross from the left in the 64th minute to equalise in a hard-fought 1-1 draw away to Binfield in Isthmian South Central.

In the absence of both Jamie Dodd and Ross Allen, GFC were captained by Kieran Mahon on his 150th appearance as he returned to the team having missed last week’s defeat at Bedfont Sports, who had beaten both these sides 3-1 in their last outings.

Despite having played Binfield only a month ago, GFC were up against a couple of new faces including midfielder Johnny Denton who signed from Ascot Town this week.

But it was two players who featured at Footes Lane in January who were instrumental in the opening goal on 14min. as captain Sean Moore was brought down in the box by Ben Le Tocq and Liam Tack converted the penalty.

GFC responded well to going behind and had a couple of decent shouts for a first-half penalty of their own, but they were still one down at the interval.

The Green Lions then had a golden opportunity to equalise early in the second half after Will Fazakerley’s neat footwork drew a foul in the penalty area, but his spot kick was saved by Chris Grace diving to his left.

However, little more than 10 minutes later Domaille, who had replaced Kyle Smith, struck to bring the sides level and, in the closing stages, he had a chance to nick all three points but the scrambling Binfield defence managed to block.

GFC keeper Lucas Hanley then made an outstanding double save in injury time to secure the point.
