Grand Fort Road derbies are usually hard-fought, tight affairs, but the clash at Northfield did not follow tradition as the home side put seven past their visitors without reply.

Craig Young scored the first before Keene Domaille, Luke Mollet and Sam Murray all added two goals apiece on a night when Rec ended with 10 men as substitute Callan Loveridge was shown a straight red card late on.

At Blanche Pierre Lane, champions St Martin’s defeated Rangers 4-0 thanks to goals from Cal Le Lacheur, Rory Moriarty, Harvey Lihou and an own goal.
