Loaring opened the scoring early on and although Scott Davy equalised before half-time, Loaring converted a second-half penalty to restore the lead before Gauvain made sure of the three points.

Guernsey FC remain 16th in Isthmian South Central, but are now up to 26 points, which is 13 ahead of the relegation places.

They are only one point behind Metropolitan Police and two behind Ascot United with one and two games in hand on them respectively.
