But while he became only the second player to reach three figures for the club, it was Isthmian South Central leaders Chertsey Town who took all three points from Footes Lane thanks to a 6-2 victory over the Green Lions.

While the table-toppers were deserving winners, GFC manager Tony Vance was left frustrated in the way his side gifted the visitors at least four, arguably five, of their goals through either hesitation or individual errors.

That included the first three inside 32 minutes, which left the hosts with a mountain to climb.

Gianluca Botti gave Chertsey the lead on 12min. and after Reece Robins had drilled in the second midway through the half, Botti completed his brace to put them three up.

A fine individual effort from GFC’s record-scorer Ross Allen pulled one back before the break and just a couple of minutes into the second half, Loaring was the quickest to react after Nicholas Jupp had saved Brandon Wallace’s long-range effort to knock in the rebound.

That was as good as it got for the hosts, though, with Wayne Ridgley hitting a beauty to ease any Chertsey nerves before Chad Goulter and Oliver McCoy also got on the scoresheet.
