GUERNSEY are set to take on Denmark at home in two matches this summer.
On the same day that the Sarnians beat a Canadian XI in a T20 match at Sussex's Probiz County Ground in Hove, the Danes provisionally agreed to visit the island from 22-23 July for back-to-back 50-over fixtures.
'A big challenge for us is to make sure we have got proper competitive matches before our next World Cricket League tournament in 2014 and Denmark will be another excellent fixture for us so it is obviously good news,' said Guernsey coach Andy Cornford.
'We have said all along that at every opportunity we get, we are trying to move forward and work on the things we talk about and these types of games are crucially important.
'Whenever we go out on the field, we want to be playing the sort of cricket we need to win ICC tournaments.'
