TOBYN HORTON has chalked up another good win as he attempts to win a place in next month's Tour of Britain eight-day stage race.

The Motorpoint professional rode to victory at the end of the BBM Bikes Elite Road Race on a 14-mile circuit at Epworth, Lincolnshire, on Sunday.

Speaking before a one-day race in Belgium yesterday, the 24-year-old (pictured) said he is picking up form again after a quiet period after the Island Games, and that he was looking forward to an important period, which include a criterium race in York this weekend, two National Premier Calendar events and then the Tour of Britain.

If selected for the latter, it would represent the biggest race of his career, he said.
