IT WAS a predictable script last night at the Track with Dave Rihoy the match-winner on his return to first-team action.

Unlike the last meeting between the two, which saw Bels put 10 past Rangers at St Andrew's, this was a hard-fought encounter, largely due to the fact that the red-and-blacks were able to field a much stronger side.

Only captain Shane Billien remained from the team put to the sword just a few weeks ago.

But from the outset it always seemed likely that Rihoy would be the one to break the deadlock. He went close on three occasions during a highly forgettable first half before he struck the decisive blow six minutes after the interval, heading home Craig Farnham's right-wing cross from close range.
