In fairness, Indies usually do and they surely would not have enjoyed their recent successes without their prolific island forward, but last night they made light of his absence with an excellent team performance to earn a deserved three points that should allow Waldrom to enjoy watching his beloved All Blacks at Murrayfield just a little bit more this weekend.

To make up for his missing fire power, teenager Lewis Perfitt came up with a couple of excellent goals while Clem Rix and Nairn Guilbert also found the net to inflict a second defeat of the season on Casuals, who never quite clicked in this match rearranged from last weekend due to Guernsey’s national knockout commitments.
