GRA on shortlist

THE Guernsey Rugby Academy has been shortlisted for a prominent national award.

They are one of six clubs up for Junior Club of the Year at Rugby Expo – a national event being held at Twickenham on 23 and 24 November.

'This is a fantastic achievement in its own right as this is out of over 500 rugby clubs in Britain,' said GRA director Charlie McHugh (pictured). 'The fact that we have been shortlisted for this prestigious junior club award this season, as well as receiving the RFU "Seal of Approval" last season, is a strong indication we and our valued sponsors are doing something right.'

The academy was nominated for the award by Leicester Tigers community manager Scott Clarke.
