Some neutrals were probably getting tired of hearing Sarnia Cherie after just three races of the 10 on offer, such was the trailblazing start by Guernsey.

Tom Hollingsworth produced arguably the individual performance of the night as he took a sizeable 1.39sec. off the previous Games record in the opening race of the night, the 100m individual medley.
