George and Westbrook combine for 48 points as Thunder beat Rockets

Paul George and Russell Westbrook scored 24 points each as the Oklahoma City Thunder ended the Houston Rockets’ 20-game home winning streak with a 108-102 win.

The win sees the Thunder move level with the San Antonio Spurs and New Orleans Pelicans for fifth in the Western Conference, half a game behind the Utah Jazz.

Oklahoma City can clinch a play-off place with a win over the Miami Heat on Monday night.

James Harden top-scored for the Rockets with 26 points.

E’Twaun Moore scored the key hoop with 23.5 seconds remaining to lead the Pelicans to a 126-120 win over the Golden State Warriors.

Anthony Davis led the Pelicans with 34 points and 12 rebounds, while Kevin Durant’s 41 points led all Warriors scorers.

LaMarcus Aldridge’s 33-point haul helped the San Antonio Spurs to a 116-105 win over the Portland Trail Blazers, while 21 points from Quincy Acy saw the Brooklyn Nets to a comfortable 124-96 victory over the Chicago Bulls.

Will Barton scored 31 points to lead the Denver Nuggets to a 134-115 triumph over the Los Angeles Clippers and the Milwaukee Bucks got the better of the New York Knicks after 22 points from Khris Middleton.
