What the papers say

Leicester City left-back Ben Chilwell is on the radar of Tottenham, according to the Telegraph. The 21-year-old has been added to England’s squad for the Switzerland friendly and could have the eyes of Spurs on him as they consider a move next January, when the defender will have two years remaining on his Foxes contract, the paper says.

Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas, meanwhile, is being lined up for a move to AC Milan in the next transfer window, the Mirror reports. The 31-year-old’s contract is coming to an end next summer and it is thought the Italian giants could be front-runners to land the midfielder, who appears to have fallen out of favour with Maurizio Sarri, having not appeared in a Premier League game under his new boss.

Burnley may need to be prepared to up the ante in their bid for Jay Rodriguez after West Brom turned down an offer for the attacker, the Sun reports. Rodriguez played at Turf Moor between 207-2012 and is said to be keen to re-join the club after West Brom dropped into the Championship last season.
