Financially and in terms of its global projection, Anthony Joshua’s showdown with Tyson Fury in Saudi Arabia threatens to dwarf the all-British super-fights that have come before.

But, with a deal now announced for a eagerly awaited showdown on August 14, the PA news agency recalls some of the biggest fights in the sport’s domestic history.
