Do England stand a chance against Scotland’s tiki-taka geniuses at the Star Sixes tournament?

Star Sixes is the sort of tournament football fans dream of, as famous names from years past line up in a six-a-side tournament to see if they’ve still got it.

And gracing this particular tournament are some pretty big names, such as Michael Owen, Roberto Carlos, Carles Puyol and Jay-Jay Okocha.

All great stuff – even better though is that the groups look phenomenal – Group C in particular should prove intriguing, including four teams to have won major tournaments in the past 25 years: Denmark, France, Germany and Portugal.

And in Group A England face Scotland in their second group fixture – on paper it should be an easier encounter for the Three Lions than their 4-1 defeat against Spain.

However, not many people counted on Scotland showing up with tiki-taka, the famous passing tactic, in their locker.

Scotland’s 3-1 win against Mexico put them second in the group, ahead of England and a single goal behind Spain. And there were other neat goals involved in their group opener too.
