Floyd Mayweather threw money over Conor McGregor but the UFC star was unimpressed by the value

The build-up to Floyd Mayweather’s fight against Conor McGregor on August 26 has been dominated by money, and Mayweather made sure that narrative continued at a press conference in Brooklyn, New York.
The 40-year-old asked for the music to come on before labelling McGregor “a stripper” and throwing dollar bills over him.
McGregor appeared unimpressed – not by the action, but by the value of the bills that fell around him.
Mayweather retired in 2015 from boxing, having gone undefeated 49-0 through his career, and took dollar bills out of a backpack to throw over the UFC star.
“That’s all you’re worth,” Mayweather told McGregor, who asked: “Where’s the real money at?”
Some of the audience managed to get their hands on some of the money, which it turned out was indeed made up of $1 bills.
McGregor didn’t seem to mind it too much.
There can’t be too many places where staff have to sweep up money afterwards.
