Harry Kane’s American Footballing ability raised eyebrows on Monday, after the British soccer star brilliantly sent a ball sailing through goalposts from a 50-yard kick.
Kane, wearing flat shoes and standing on fake grass, demonstrated that he isn’t just an asset in the Premier League, and it wasn’t long before Twitter began wondering if his future even remained in British football.
At this juncture it’s probably worth reminding those hopeful of a crossover that Kane is still very much needed for his skills as an England international.
Let’s hope he doesn’t try to convert any time soon.
