The red and gold images are celebrating the Chinese Year of the Dog and it is the fifth edition in Guernsey Post’s Lunar New Year series.
Sydney-based illustrator Chrissy Lau has created the six stamp images, which were inspired by China’s famous Pekingese ‘lion dogs’ that were specifically bred to resemble lions and are highly regarded in Buddhism.
The stamps will be available from 1 February.
