An emotional Liz Chamberlain, pictured, yesterday announced the Bridge-based shop would close its doors for the final time at the end of July after 37 years in business.

She said the internet had played a massive part in the 'regretful' decision and warned the closure was a sign of things to come.

'Letting go of my five full-time and two part-time staff has been the hardest decision I have ever had to make.

'They are family to me and it breaks my heart,' she said.

'But I will do my very best to help them find jobs elsewhere.'
